Resurgence
We are very excited at Art Lees
with the many new developments in men's fashion over the last few
years and leading the way is the double-breasted suit. Although
the double-breasted suit had been out of favour for most of a decade
it is making a strong resurgence. The double-breasted used to be
boxy and broad-shouldered with a padded shoulder look, but the new
breed of double-breasted suits have changed tremendously. Now, suit
makers are bringing out a more stylized double-breasted suit, with
slim-fitting shoulders that come to razor-sharp points, lapels that
cross high on the chest, and a shaped torso that cuts in at the
ribs. The result is a much anticipated and refined style that leaves
behind images of the past.
